Clearsite Industrial Services is a leading provider of hydrovac and vacuum excavation solutions, recognized for its commitment to safety, efficiency, and reliability. As a trusted partner to clients across Pennsylvania and beyond, Clearsite operates a fleet of advanced vacuum hydrovac trucks and specializes in safe dig services for a variety of industrial and environmental projects.
We are seeking a Field Service Supervisor to join our team in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This role is pivotal in ensuring field operations are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing daily industrial field service operations and ensuring all jobs meet safety, efficiency, and customer specifications.
  • Leading and coordinating field crews, schedules, and equipment assignments.
  • Enforcing safety and compliance standards in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Serving as the primary field contact for customers and management, facilitating clear communication and issue resolution.
  • Inspecting equipment and work areas prior to job commencement and correcting deficiencies to prevent accidents, injuries, lost productivity, or equipment damage.
  • Operating necessary equipment in accordance with training and safety procedures.
  • Instructing and assisting crew members in performing duties per client requirements and company policies.
  • Safely operating vehicles in compliance with US DOT and other regulatory requirements.
  • Managing project documentation and supporting job reconciliation and review processes.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support field operations and company objectives.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of supervisory or crew-lead experience in environmental field service operations, construction, manufacturing, or similar industrial settings
  • Experience leading field crews of at least 3 people
  • Proven ability to interface directly with clients and management as a primary field point of contact
  • Experience managing, reconciling, and reviewing job documentation for field projects
  • Valid driver's license
  • TWIC card or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
  • Current HAZWOPER certification and Confined Space training certification
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to perform field work requiring lifting, frequent kneeling/climbing, confined-space entry, respirator use, and wearing PPE for extended periods
  • Able to travel frequently for field assignments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in industrial emergency response and hazmat clean-up
  • Experience managing project-related vendors
  • Current OSHA 10 certification
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
