Hoover Energy Services is looking for a Field Service Supervisor to join our team of oil and gas service professionals in the Artesia, NM area.

Direct Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee field service and repair tasks, in an oil and gas setting. Example equipment includes but is not limited to; LACTS, pumps, electric motors, temperature transmitter, pressure transmitters and other powered or mechanical equipment.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed in the field.
  • Supervise and support a team of field technicians, under the direction of the Hoover Energy Services senior management team.
  • Perform regular assessments of field service tech skills and growth.
  • Attend required meetings, training, and operations discussions.
  • Review, correct and approve timesheets in a timely manner.
  • Teach and assist technicians in all aspects of field service repair and troubleshooting.
  • Manage parts, tools, and scheduling/dispatching for service jobs daily, weekly, and monthly. Including updating and oversight of the field services on-call schedule.
  • Review and correct field service tickets in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed field service documentation and communicate updates to management regularly.
  • Lead their team in safety in and out of the field.
  • Must be able to safely operate company vehicles.
  • This position’s normal working hours are Monday-Friday 6:30 – 5:00 PM. This position is subject to after-hours and weekend availability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of relevant field service & repair experience.
  • 3 + years of relevant experience in field service supervisory role.
