Job description

District Service Manager- Saginaw Location
Base Pay- $60,000- $70,000 annually
Additional Commissions and Bonuses Average: $20,000 - $40,000

At Continental Linen Services (CLS), we’ve been family-owned and operated since 1899 — and we still believe leadership is about showing up, supporting your people, and doing the right thing for customers.

We’re looking for a District Service Manager who’s ready to take ownership of a branch, lead from the front, and grow alongside a company built on long-term relationships and trust.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your impact is felt every single day.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, and hold branch team members accountable

  • Retain existing customers and grow the branch

  • Complete open routes when necessary

  • Control branch expenses and operational costs

  • Maintain and secure the facility, fleet, and inventory

  • Ensure revenue stays within customer agreements

  • Conduct annual ride-alongs with route representatives

  • Generate $35 per week in new business

  • Perform additional duties as required


Schedule amp; Work Environment
  • Office and field-based role

  • Regular travel to customer locations

  • Work week can be 50+ hours

  • Occasional Saturday as business needs

Qualifications
  • High School diploma required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred; candidates with significant relevant experience and demonstrated qualifications are encouraged to apply

  • 2+ years supervisory experience

  • Route delivery experience preferred

  • Customer service and/or sales experience

  • Ability to obtain:

    • Chauffeur’s License

    • DOT Medical Card

  • Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

  • Textile industry experience is a plus


Physical Requirements
  • Drive company vehicles 10+ hours when needed

  • Lift up to 80 lbs occasionally

  • Push/pull carts up to 800 lbs

  • Ability to multitask and make quick decisions

  • Must maintain a good driving record
