Job description

JOB FUNCTION:
Responsible for assisting with day-to-day farm operations as directed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Assist with all aspects of seeding, planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting vegetable crops.
  2. Assist with upkeep of grounds including mowing and trimming.
  3. Work with volunteer groups, including developmentally disabled individuals, as assigned.
  4. Maintain seeding and harvesting records as required.
  5. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  2. Ability to engage in physical labor for extended periods of time including bending, lifting, and carrying
  3. Ability to follow directions accurately
  4. Good oral communication skills and ability to work well with others
  5. Ability to speak Spanish preferred
  6. Previous gardening or hydroponic experience a plus
