The Role

As Lab Technician Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the various tests and procedures required to accurately grade the quality and condition of grain samples for growers, traders and P&H’s various facilities. This position will assist the Quality Control Manager and Lab Technicians with additional duties as assigned.

The Lab Technician Assistant is a part time, contract role. You must be available to work at least 15 hours per week, between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., from September to December 2026, including weekends.

Day to Day
  • Preparing various samples for analysis and testing
  • Reporting/logging detailed results of tests and samples
  • Performing maintenance checks on equipment and log maintenance activity.
