Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide fast and courteous service to technicians, retail, and wholesale customers.

  • List and price out parts on repair orders and or counter tickets.

  • Write purchase orders for parts and sublet work as needed from outside suppliers and obtain management approval.

  • List and price out all sublet repair work on repair orders.

  • Properly input loss and sales into the inventory control system.

  • Maintain records of all special-order parts and notify the person who authorized the order of receipt.

  • Maintain a customer backorder file.

  • Maintain the special-order parts inventory in a clean and orderly manner.

  • Make sure technicians turn in all defective parts necessary for warranty scrap and tag them appropriately.

  • Help "scrap" parts held for factory claims with the factory representative.

  • Maintain the warranty return parts inventory in a clean and organized manner.

  • Participate in conducting a perpetual inventory.

  • Help maintain parts catalogs, price schedules, and other technical information and bulletins.

  • Keep work area clean, free of debris, safe and put away loose stock.

  • Proficient in the use of parts catalogs and locations of correct.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of automotive repairs and processes

  • Hardworking, team player, pays attention to detail

  • Availability to work potentially Monday-Saturday
  • Retail, wholesale parts sales experience along with Rey&Rey, CDK, Automated Computer experience ideal but not required
