Summary:
The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for general facilities tasks, with the goal of maintaining a clean and organized workplace.ย 
Duties are listed in order of greatest importance.ย  The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
ย  ย  ย  ย  Enter Responsibilities/Essential Duties
ย  ย  ย  ย Cleanup and organizational activities.
ย  ย  ย  ย Assisting maintenance with assignments facilities
ย  ย  ย  ย Keeping the Cleanrooms neat, clean and organized.ย  This could include working with Production and maintenance staff.
ย  ย  ย  ย Verifies effectiveness of repairs, improvements and ensures product produced meets specification.
ย  ย  ย  ย Maintains all required documentation when necessary to ensure process accountability.
ย  ย  ย  ย Identifies and reports hazards as recognized to Safety, Quality and Production when necessary.
ย  ย  ย  ย Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
ย  ย  ย  ย Perform routine walkthroughs of the facility to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or housekeeping issues.
ย  ย  ย  ย Maintains cleanliness and organization of common areas, maintenance rooms, and storage spaces.
ย  ย  ย  ย Assist with basic repairs including lighting, minor plumbing, and general building maintenance.
ย  ย  ย  ย Support preventive maintenance activities by coordinating schedules and ensuring documentation is completed.
ย  ย  ย  ย Monitor and restock facility supplies (janitorial, safety, office, etc.).
ย  ย  ย  ย Perform routine walkthroughs of the facility to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or housekeeping issues.
ย  ย  ย  ย Assist with basic repairs including lighting, minor plumbing, and general building maintenance.
ย  ย  ย  ย Support preventive maintenance activities by coordinating schedules and ensuring documentation is completed.
Must haves:

  • ย  Sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.ย 
  • ย  Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • ย  Lifting/moving up to 30 pounds.
  • ย  Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.ย 
  • ย  Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
  • Experience with tools (vacuums, drills etc)
