Job description

FABRICATOR
Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Fabricators for a manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. A Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and repairing metal components and structures according to specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
Pay Rates:
Day shift: $19.00 per hour
Night shift: $20.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Day shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm -overtime day Friday
Night Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-4:30am-overtime night is Sunday
Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal materials.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, presses, grinders, and welding machines.
  • Fit, align, and secure components using welding, bolting, or fastening methods.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Document completed work and report defects or production issues.
Fabricator Qualifications and Requirements
  • Read measuring tools to 1 1/16th and blueprints (tape measure test will be administered)
  • Previous fabrication, manufacturing, welding, or metalworking experience preferred.
  • safely operate hand and power tools
  • Frequently standing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials.
  • Work in a manufacturing or shop environment.
  • 14-panel drug screen and background check will be conducted
