What you'll do

As a Belt Fabricator Technician, you’ll play a key role in fabricating, repairing, and installing conveyor belts and components—either in our shop or at customer sites.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Fabricate, build, and repair conveyor belts and belt components
  • Install and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision
  • Receive, verify, and organize incoming parts and materials
  • Operate hand tools and heavy equipment (including forklifts) safely
  • Pick up and deliver materials, stock, and completed orders
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear the required PPE
  • Represent Belt Power professionally at all times


What we're looking for:

We’re looking for dependable, mechanically minded individuals who take pride in quality workmanship.


Required Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‐on problem‐solving skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure and work with precise measurements
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces or at heights
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast‐paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent


Preferred:

  • Previous maintenance or belt technician experience
  • Desire to learn new processes and grow within a skilled trade


Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Work performed primarily in a fabrication shop environment
  • Moderate noise levels; well‐lit and ventilated workspace
  • Use of heavy machinery, hand tools, and ladders
  • Frequent bending, standing, kneeling, and lifting
  • Strict adherence to safety standards and PPE requirements


Schedule

  • Full‐time position
  • Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required
  • Travel may be required depending on customer needs
