Job description

Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Submarine Logistics Specialist to support an innovative program office. You will have experience supporting Department of Defense logistics, sustainment, and submarine maintenance operations. In this role, you will have experience coordinating across Navy stakeholders, supply communities, and maintenance organizations to resolve complex material and readiness challenges supporting strategic submarine programs. You will have experience conducting detailed supply support research, identifying impediments to material readiness, coordinating alternate material resolutions, and supporting lifecycle sustainment activities for Ohio Class and Columbia Class submarines. This position requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with the ability to independently support high-visibility Navy acquisition and sustainment initiatives. Travel: Less than 10%
Clearance: Secret required Required Experience: 
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related technical field.
-7+ years of relevant work experience supporting logistics, sustainment, acquisition, or program support activities.
-5+ years of experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD).
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
-Understanding of project management fundamentals including critical path management, risk management, and long lead time items. Desired Experience: 
-Experience supporting Naval Sea Systems Command programs or Program Executive Offices.
-Submarine maintenance, logistics, or sustainment experience.
-Experience coordinating with NAVSUP, DLA, DCMA, and Fleet stakeholders.
-Working knowledge of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP), eCANNAB, In-Service Submarine and Sustainment Reliability Portal (ISARP), -Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC) tools, Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP), and Submarine Maintenance Monitoring Information Systems (SMMIS).
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills supporting fleet readiness initiatives.
-Prior Navy or submarine community experience.
