Job description

Overview

How You'll Make an Impact

As an Executive in Solutions Consulting, you are operating at the highest individual-contributor level in our pre-sales commercial function. You shape how Epsilon approaches its most strategically significant market opportunities - not by managing people, but by setting the standard for how complex, high-stakes solution design gets done.

You bring a level of commercial seniority and client credibility that matches the rooms we need to win in. You've spent years learning how enterprises actually make buying decisions, how the gap between "what the client says" and "what the client needs" is navigated, and how pursuit teams stay aligned under pressure. That experience doesn't just make you a better practitioner - it makes the entire commercial system around you more effective.

You bring a sophisticated understanding of Epsilon solutions and the evolving marketing and advertising technology landscape - including identity, data collaboration, media activation, and measurement - and how these capabilities converge to enable enterprise growth. You are fluent in the implications of signal loss, privacy-first data strategies, and the increasing role of AI in marketing, and can translate this complexity into clear strategic direction and commercially compelling narratives for senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

What You'll Achieve

You will lead the most complex, highest-value, and most commercially sensitive pursuits in Epsilon's portfolio - and serve as the senior commercial advisor who helps Sales and Growth leadership think through pursuit strategy when the stakes are highest.

In this role, you will:

  • Advise Sales and Growth leadership on how to approach, frame, and differentiate on the most strategically significant pursuits - including competitive situations, high-risk renewals, and opportunities where the commercial model itself needs to be rethought.
  • Lead multi-threaded discovery at the executive and economic buyer level, surfacing the real drivers behind an opportunity and translating them into solution designs that resonate where decisions actually get made.
  • Define how complex, cross-portfolio solutions should be structured and positioned - drawing on the full range of Epsilon's capability to assemble solutions that are differentiated, defensible, and executable
  • Set the standard for assumptions governance and cross-functional alignment: ensuring that commitments made in pursuit are executable by Delivery and that risks are surfaced, documented, and managed before close.
  • Shape how the SC practice develops and how Epsilon is perceived by its most important clients - contributing to methodology, raising the commercial bar across the function, and building the kind of long-term client relationships that make us the default partner on what comes next.
Qualifications

Who You Are

What you'll bring with you:

  • An exceptional track record in solutions consulting, management consulting, or enterprise pre-sales - with consistent, direct ownership of the most complex and commercially sensitive opportunities across your career.
  • Deep expertise in the modern marketing and advertising ecosystem, including identity frameworks, data collaboration approaches such as clean rooms, and the integration of media, data, and technology capabilities at enterprise scale.
  • The ability to operate as a genuine peer to senior commercial leadership: contributing to pursuit strategy, challenging assumptions, and bringing a point of view that earns respect from Sales VPs, Growth leaders, and C-suite client stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in how enterprise buying decisions are made at the economic buyer level - what matters, what doesn't, and how pursuit-level decisions connect to how Epsilon wins in the market over time.
  • A practitioner's credibility. You've done the work at every level of complexity, and that depth shows up in how you engage - with clients, with cross-functional teams, and with the commercial questions that don't have clean answers.
  • 20+ years of experience in solutions consulting, pre-sales, or management consulting - with a demonstrated pattern of being trusted with the highest-stakes engagements in every organization you've been part of.
  • A strong point of view on privacy-first marketing and AI-driven transformation.

Why you might stand out from other candidates:

  • You have a clear perspective on identity, data collaboration, and AI transforming marketing.
  • You've operated at the intersection of MarTech and AdTech in high-stakes environments.
  • You've been the person Sales leadership calls before the most important pursuit kick-off - not to staff a resource, but to think through how to approach it.
  • You can sit with a client's CFO or CMO and hold a conversation about their business outcomes that doesn't require any slides - because you understand their world well enough to meet them in it.
  • You have a point of view on what makes pre-sales commercial practice excellent - and you've shaped that practice at prior organizations; you understand impact on the broader function.
  • You've navigated the full complexity of a multi-product, multi-capability portfolio - and you can articulate how you decided what to include, what to leave out, and how to sequence options so clients can actually decide.
