Job description

The Opportunity: Senior Account Executive (Founding)

Our client is looking for an early sales hire—a Founding AE who will help them formalize and scale their sales engine.

While they already have an initial customer base, you’ll work directly with their CEO to refine the sales motion and determine how the company consistently wins. You will own the full cycle, build deep relationships with revenue leaders, and play a pivotal role in shaping the overall go-to-market strategy. We are looking for someone who is hungry to hit their numbers and thrives in the dynamic environment of an early-stage company.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle: Drive the process from initial prospecting and discovery through to demoing, closing, and account expansion.
  • Build executive relationships: Partner with VP RevOps, CROs, and VPs of Sales as a trusted advisor to their business.
  • Shape the GTM strategy: Collaborate with the CEO and VP of Marketing to refine messaging and positioning based on real-world feedback from the field.
  • Sell creatively: The product offers a unique approach. You’ll move beyond rigid scripts to solve specific, complex problems in real-time.

Why You’re a Great Fit

  • Relevant Experience: You have 4–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS, specifically within the GTM, RevOps, or Sales Enablement space.
  • Startup DNA: You’ve sold at an early-stage company before and enjoyed the process of building structure where none existed. You are comfortable with ambiguity and obsessed with driving growth.
  • Consultative Approach: You have genuine, high-level conversations about a customer’s pain points and focus on solving problems rather than just delivering a pitch.
  • Tech-Forward: You are comfortable with (or eager to master) AI-driven workflows to automate CRM updates, research accounts, and optimize your pipeline.

What They Offer

  • Competitive Compensation: $250-300K OTE (50/50) plus meaningful equity.
  • High Impact: You’ll have significant autonomy from day one—you are the architect of the sales process.
  • A High-Caliber Team: Work alongside a sharp, low-ego group that moves fast and values direct communication.
  • In-Person Collaboration: Our client believes in the power of building together. This role is Hybrid based in their San Francisco office.
  • Foundational Role: Join an AI-first company at a pivotal moment. As they scale, your impact will be a core part of the success story.
