Job Title:  Rigid Frame Operator

Job Summary:  

A Rigid Frame Operator operates or tends machinery equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets, to excavate and load loose materials.  Operates construction equipment, such as cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:      

  • Operate the  Rigid Frame equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain the equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Work closely with the construction team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  • Perform routine maintenance on the equipment to keep it in good working condition
  • Communicate with the construction team to ensure that the equipment is being used effectively and efficiently

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience operating and maintaining Rigid Frame equipment
  • Knowledge of construction processes and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines
  • Physical ability to operate and maintain the equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating and maintaining Rigid Frame equipment in a construction environment
