Job description

Victory Agency is hiring a Director of Operations in Houston, TX. 
Position Purpose 

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading the agency’s day-to-day operations and building the systems, processes, and structure needed for long-term growth.
This is not a sales role. The focus is on improving efficiency, strengthening service, increasing accountability, and supporting the agency as it scales.
What You’ll Do
  • Oversee daily operations and support staff with workflow and process questions
  • Improve and maintain workflows, procedures, and standard operating processes (SOPs)
  • Ensure consistency in service standards, follow-ups, and internal processes
  • Lead operations meetings and track action items and accountability
  • Manage reporting for production, new business, retention, cancellations, and service activity
  • Maintain data accuracy and workflow compliance in agency systems
  • Support onboarding, scheduling, payroll coordination, and basic HR administration
  • Help coordinate office operations, vendors, and technology needs
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and growth
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a strong, organized leader who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and helping teams perform at a high level.
The ideal candidate has insurance agency operations experience, is comfortable working in agency management systems (AMS360 preferred), and understands how to improve workflows, reporting, and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS
·   Insurance agency operations experience, preferably in an independent agency environment.
·   Strong working knowledge of agency management systems; AMS360 experience preferred.
·   Demonstrated ability to build workflows, reporting cadence, SOPs, staff accountability, and operational structure.
·   Ability to coach staff, identify root causes, enforce standards, and communicate clearly with ownership.
·   P&C license preferred; additional insurance, risk management, or operations credentials are beneficial.
