Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Use Radio Frequency (RF) and heat welding machines to assemble fabric and plastics to be utilized in the manufacturing process.
MAJOR DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify faults in fabric
• Use various Radio Frequency (RF) and heat welding machines to assemble fabrics and plastics
• Accurate completion of documentation:
o Work Orders
o Cut Records
o Material Record Cards, etc.
• Interpret written work instructions and drawings to weld materials per requirement
• Responsible for awareness and compliance as applicable to the requirements of ISO9001:2015 and the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) standards
• Notify supervisor of possible risks to meeting production requirements
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs is required.
• Manipulate material through heat welding machine to weld parts together.
Working in an environment where various solvents, adhesives, RF Welding equipment and industrial manufacturing machines are used is a requirement of this job role when working on projects.
Education/Experience: • Minimum High School education or equivalent required. • Radio Frequency (RF) and heat welding machine experience – Preferred
