Job description

Project Coordinator — Digital Display Product Launch

Temporary / Project-Based • Discount Marketing Products (DMP)

Company

Discount Marketing Products (DMP)

Project

DMP Digital Displays Launch

Employment Type

Temporary / Contract / Project-Based

Duration

Approx. 6 months, with potential to grow into a longer-term role

Reports To

President / CEO

Start Date

As soon as possible — ideally no later than end of June

About the Role

DMP is launching a brand-new product category: portable LED video display products built for events, trade shows, retail activations, and promotional campaigns. We are looking for a highly organized Project Coordinator to help bring this launch to life — keeping tasks on track, organizing product information, coordinating with vendors and internal team members, and lifting the day-to-day project load off the company president.

This is a hands-on coordination role, not a senior product management role. You will not be expected to build the product strategy from scratch, own pricing, or run high-level supplier negotiations. Instead, you will take a structured launch plan and make it happen — managing the details, organizing information, documenting progress, and pushing the project forward week after week.

If you are the kind of person who loves checklists, timelines, and turning a messy multi-part project into something clean and on track, you will thrive here.

The Project

DMP is adding LED video display products under a new digital display category. The initial focus is LED video cubes, with future potential to expand into LED spheres, columns, towers, cans, bottles, and other digital displays. The goal is a Q4 soft launch followed by a strong official debut at PPAI Vegas in January 2027.

Across the launch, you will help coordinate product information, supplier communication, sample and prototype logistics, website content, sales collateral, product documentation, pricing file organization, internal training prep, and trade show readiness.

What You Will Do

  • Keep the project on track. Maintain the master project plan; track weekly tasks, deadlines, owners, and status; run the open-issues, decision, and risk logs; prepare weekly updates; and flag anything delayed, blocked, or missing.
  • Coordinate suppliers and product info. Organize documents from suppliers, track open questions, and follow up for missing specs, videos, photos, manuals, and production details. Track sample and prototype shipments and maintain a clear product information summary.
  • Drive website launch content. Organize the content the DMP website needs — photos, videos, specs, descriptions, FAQs, support docs — coordinate with the web team, keep a checklist of pages, and review drafts for gaps so pages are ready for the Q4 launch.
  • Pull together sales and marketing collateral. Track creation of sell sheets, spec sheets, distributor FAQs, use-case flyers, rental info, rep talking points, and training materials. Manage drafts and revisions, and keep final files organized and easy to find.
  • Build out support documentation. Organize setup guides, upload guides, troubleshooting docs, repair instructions, and supplier videos and manuals. Identify gaps and help build a simple support system that heads off future customer service issues.
  • Run sample testing and launch prep. Create a sample testing checklist, coordinate internal review when prototypes arrive, document issues and improvements, capture photos and videos, and update collateral and FAQs based on real testing.
  • Prepare for PPAI Vegas. Maintain the trade show checklist — booth materials, product demos, printed collateral, video content, and staff talking points — so the LED display category looks polished and complete for the January 2027 show.

What You Bring

  • Strong organizational skills and a real talent for follow-up
  • Comfort working from project plans and checklists, and juggling many open items at once
  • Clear written communication and the ability to summarize information for management
  • A sharp eye for detail and a knack for keeping files, notes, and product info clearly organized
  • Comfort coordinating with vendors, designers, website teams, and internal staff
  • Solid working skills with spreadsheets, shared folders, email, and basic project tracking tools

Nice to Have

Experience with LED products is helpful but not required. We would also love to see any of the following:

  • Product launch, marketing project, or website content coordination
  • Trade show preparation and supplier / vendor coordination
  • Promotional products, displays, signage, events, or marketing products experience
  • A basic understanding of product specs and sales collateral

Who Thrives in This Role

The ideal person is practical, organized, and execution-focused. You do not need to be a high-level strategist, you need to be the person who keeps a complex project moving and can always answer:

  • “Here is what is complete.”
  • “Here is what is still open.”
  • “Here is what we are waiting on.”
  • “Here are the decisions needed.”
  • “Here are the top priorities for this week.”

Compensation & Structure

This is a temporary, project-based role of roughly six months. We are flexible on structure and open to part-time contract, full-time temporary, hourly, or temp-to-permanent arrangements depending on fit.

Room to grow: If the digital display category develops successfully, this role may evolve into a larger position supporting DMP Digital Displays and/or Lumavate LED.
