Job description

Specialty Print & Packaging Account Executive

Classic Color is seeking a Specialty Print & Packaging Account Executive to help grow new business across our full range of print, packaging, and related services.

This role is a good fit for a relationship-driven sales professional with experience in commercial print and existing relationships with print buyers, agencies, designers, marketing teams, corporate customers, or other decision-makers who regularly purchase print and packaging. The right candidate will understand how to develop new business, build trust with customers, and work with an internal production team to bring projects from concept through completion.

Classic Color has built its reputation by producing high-quality print and packaging projects. We are looking for someone who can help introduce our capabilities to new customers and grow accounts that value quality, service, and dependable execution.

Position Summary
This is a new-business-focused sales role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving customer problems, and helping customers find the right print or packaging solution. The successful candidate should have direct experience selling commercial print and ideally bring an existing book of business or strong industry relationships.

While experience in specialty packaging, folding cartons, rigid boxes, luxury packaging, or complex finishing is helpful, we recognize that no salesperson will be an expert in every area. A strong background in commercial print sales, good customer relationships, and the ability to learn are most important.

Responsibilities
โ€ข Develop new business opportunities with brands, agencies, designers, corporations, marketing departments, procurement teams, and other print buyers.
โ€ข Sell across Classic Colorโ€™s full range of print, packaging, and related services.
โ€ข Use existing industry relationships to identify and develop new opportunities.
โ€ข Build long-term customer relationships based on trust, service, follow-up, and quality execution.
โ€ข Work with internal estimating, production, prepress, customer service, project management, and leadership teams to support customer needs.
โ€ข Help customers develop practical and effective print and packaging solutions.
โ€ข Manage opportunities from initial discussion through quoting, production coordination, and ongoing account development.
โ€ข Stay engaged with customers to understand upcoming projects, changing needs, and opportunities for growth.
โ€ข Represent Classic Color professionally in customer meetings, facility tours, industry events, and account development activities.

Compensation
Classic Color offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, industry relationships, and demonstrated sales ability.

Company Description
