Job Description
Clearent's Account Executives are at the forefront of our organization. They are the individuals that have helped Clearent become one of the fastest growing payment processors in the U.S. Clearent provides extensive support and comprehensive training from day one. Account Executives are acquiring new merchant business customers through prospecting, cold calling, networking and creating lasting referral partnerships. You will identify business's needs in terms of electronic payment processing services and suggest Clearent solutions that best meet those needs. Conduct periodic customer service and quality assurance visits with your merchant clients. This is an outside remote B2B sales role and you are not required to report to an office.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with small to medium sized business owners in your area
  • Collaborate with your Regional Sales Director to prepare and present in person sales proposals
  • Work closely with Clearent colleagues in Customer Service, Underwriting, IT, Sales Support and other departments to meet your sales goals
  • Provide necessary documentation to assigned departments
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Our compensation model includes uncapped earnings with upfront cash incentives (up to $5,000 per deal), new customer signing bonuses, monthly & quarterly production bonuses, portfolio equity and lifetime residuals.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid current driver's license and auto insurance
  • Minimum 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience
  • Ability to self-source leads through a combination of prospecting, cold calling and networking
  • PC proficient with Microsoft Office Suite experience
