Job description

Sophomore Executive Club Sponsor Stipend Role

Location: Deerfield High School Stipend: Category 8 (from August though end of school year)

Sophomore Executive Club is open to all sophomore students. The sponsor supports this club which is similar to a traditional student council but focuses on Homecoming and philanthropy via School Chest and Spring Philanthropy initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Current staff member of DHS

Time Commitment:

  • Meet once a week throughout the school year.

General Expectations for Sponsors

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advise and support the Sophomore Executive Club in planning and executing key school-wide initiatives.
  • Guide student leaders in organizing Homecoming activities and philanthropy efforts via School Chest and Spring Philanthropy campaigns.
  • Facilitate productive meetings.
  • Help students develop leadership and event-planning skills.

Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated annually by the Student Activities Director and/or Principal in accordance with district policies.
