Job description

Broward House, Inc. is a not-for-profit community-based organization serving Broward County with a focus on HIV care and Prevention, housing, and behavioral health. Broward believes in the dignity and value of every person who walks through the door. Our team lifts each other and those we serve with consistency, authenticity, adaptability, and a resolute commitment to equity in health care. We are looking for an Executive Assistant to work directly with our CEO and leadership team.
In addition to other responsibilities, this position will have the opportunity to:

  • Greets all visitors in a professional, supportive manner providing program and community information
  • De-escalate and triages needs of those entering or calling the facility
  • Linking those in need of service with a program staff member
  • Provide administrative assistance to the management in the assigned facility.
  • Manage a multiline phone system while provide attention to walk in visitors
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to maintain professional and engaging demeanor while working with diverse populations
  • Provide information in a strength based and trauma informed manner
S Skills and requirements
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and meet established deadlines
  • Moderate t computer skills required: Microsoft Office, Multiple Databases, Scheduling Programs
  • Basic office equipment operation skills
  • At least 2 years or more of work experience as a front desk/customer service preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Important Notes:
Some physical effort may be required to push, move and life light objects less than 20 lbs. Position requires balance between task and people skills
