Job description

GreenMark Equipment is the premier John Deere dealership in Southwestern Michigan and Northern Indiana with 17 locations to serve our customers. We are committed to providing value-added equipment solutions through our sales, service and support to farmers, commercial businesses, large property owners and homeowners. Purpose:
The Marketing Intern provides hands-on support to the GreenMark Marketing team while gaining real-world experience in marketing, communications, event planning, and creative design. This internship offers the opportunity to learn multiple areas of marketing by assisting with day-to-day projects that support GreenMark's dealerships, employees, and customers.
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Creative Support
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials for digital, print, social media, and in-store signage.
  • Help write and edit content for social media, blog posts, internal communications, and promotional materials.
  • Proofread advertisements and marketing communications for grammar, formatting, and accuracy.
  • Assist with graphic design projects under the direction of the Marketing team.
  • Support photography, video, and content creation projects as opportunities arise.

Event Support
  • Assist with planning and coordinating company events, customer events, and trade shows.
  • Help prepare event materials and promotional items.
  • Provide on-site support during marketing events when needed.

Marketing Operations
  • Organize and maintain marketing inventory and promotional materials.
  • Assist with fulfilling marketing requests from GreenMark locations.
  • Help organize digital files, marketing assets, and department documents.
  • Perform general administrative tasks including purchase orders, document organization, and data entry.

Digital Marketing Support
  • Assist with maintaining GreenMark's Google Business Profiles by updating business information and helping monitor customer reviews and questions.
  • Support the marketing team with research, reporting, and basic marketing analytics.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
Required
  • Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Acrobat.
