Equine Rehab amp; Fitness/Barn Help

Outlaw Equine rehabs 50-70 horses six days a week. We are looking for someone who can endure the physically demanding aspect of this job. This will include walking all day to catch and put up horses in addition to helping swim, running the aquasizer, cold salt chambers, etc. Safety of horses is our number one priority, so extensive horse experience is required. This position will also include helping clean stalls and feeding horses. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic and willing to work as a team.
Responsibilities include:
  • Swimming horses
  • Catching and putting up horses
  • Monitoring horses on the aquasizer, hot walker and colt salt chambers
  • Taking horses temperature
  • Picking feet daily
  • Grooming horses
  • Remembering horses and their injuries
  • Be able to recognize when a horse is in distress (not eating or drinking properly)
  • Helping clean stalls and feed horses
  • Jogging horses for vets when requested

Requirements:
  • Extensive horse experience is a must
  • Ability to endure long work days and physically capable to help horses swim and complete other physical tasks
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to pay attention to surroundings and keep horses safe at all times
  • Eagerness to work as a team
  • Attention to detail is a must
