Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time

Full-Time Positions Require Weekend Availability

Accela Healthcare Center at Manalapan is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Aides to join our Environmental Services team. If you take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment and enjoy making a difference in the lives of others, we'd love to hear from you!

As an Environmental Aide, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents, visitors, and staff enjoy a clean and comfortable skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces.

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned areas according to facility standards.

  • Replenish paper products, soap, and other environmental services supplies.

  • Collect and dispose of trash and soiled linens following infection control procedures.

  • Maintain cleanliness in accordance with OSHA, CDC, and facility infection prevention guidelines.

  • Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.

  • Provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and staff.

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Environmental Aide or in housekeeping within a skilled nursing facility, nursing home, healthcare, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Schedule
  • Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available.

  • Weekend availability is required for Full-Time positions.

  • Flexible scheduling may be available for Part-Time positions.
