Commercial Title Examiner - Entry-Level (Law School Graduates)

About the Role
Are you a licensed attorney looking to launch or further your career in the real estate and title insurance industry? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Title Examiner to join our Naples team.
Location: Naples, FL - This is a fully in-office position that requires working on site at our Naples location 5 days per week.
This position is ideal for:
A recently licensed attorney seeking a non-traditional legal career path, or
An attorney with a few years of real estate or title experience looking to deepen their expertise in commercial transactions. You'll receive hands-on mentorship in a collaborative, team-oriented office while gaining exposure to complex commercial real estate transactions.
What You'll Do

  • Examine commercial title records and prepare title commitments and Owner & Encumbrance reports
  • Conduct legal research related to property taxes, liens, judgments, bankruptcies, and other encumbrances
  • Partner with underwriting to resolve title objections and secure necessary approvals
  • Communicate directly with clients to address title-related matters
  • Review closing documentation to ensure compliance with underwriting and title requirements
  • Analyze risk and apply sound legal judgment to real estate transactions
What We're Looking For
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active bar license required
  • 0-3 years of experience preferred, ideally in real estate, title, or related transactional practice
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
