Sales Development Representative (Entry-level)
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers to create sales pipeline opportunities for the Account Executive team. This role serves as the first point of contact for many prospects and plays a critical role in driving revenue growth through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and customer engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate qualified sales meetings and pipeline opportunities through outbound prospecting activities including phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and social selling
  • Follow up promptly on inbound leads generated through marketing programs, website inquiries, events, webinars, and partner referrals
  • Conduct account- and prospect research to identify key decision-makers, business challenges, and potential opportunities
  • Qualify prospects using established qualification methodologies and document findings in CRM systems.
  • Schedule introductory meetings and discovery calls for Account Executives
  • Manage and maintain accurate prospect- and activity records within Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Support website chat, inbound sales inquiries, and lead routing processes
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and market trends
  • Meet or exceed monthly activity, meeting-setting, and pipeline generation targets
  • Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and professional development programs
  • Stay current on company products, industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer use cases
  • Success metrics: Qualified meetings set, Sales pipeline generated, Lead response time, Prospect engagement rates, CRM data quality and activity compliance

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, marketing, or a customer-facing role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound prospecting calls and engaging with senior business and technical decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a competitive drive and desire to build a career in sales
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus but not required
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, outreach tools, or sales engagement platforms is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual goals and responsibilities
