About The Job -
We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented entry-level Marketing Assistant to join our bank's marketing team. A primary responsibility for this individual will be to help take on event coordination and planning. Event responsibilities include attending events, working with outside vendors, and providing outstanding customer service to ensure successful events. This individual must be well-organized, have good written and oral communication skills, and be detail-oriented.

Essential Job Duties -
  • Assist with the setup, facilitation and completion of Croghan events to help ensure their success.
  • Provide support at community events Croghan sponsors to help with PR efforts.
  • Assist in the organizing, ordering, and inventory of promotion products and Croghan wear program, insuring quality control.
  • Communicate directly with promotional product vendors and encourage trusting relationships.
  • Daily administrative task that help ensure the functionality and coordination of the department.
  • Help write content for various marketing items such as social media, press releases, letters, etc.
  • Support Marketing Department in organizing and completion of various marketing projects.
  • Assist with quarterly reporting and data tracking for social media and external mentions.
  • Help with the oversight and responding to questions and mentions across our social media sites.
  • Adhere to risk management and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Complies with and maintain working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Completes assigned compliance training essential to job function.
  • Punctual and regular attendance is required.

Requirements -
  • Associates degree in Marketing
  • Less than one year in a prior Marketing role, Internship experience preferred
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Advanced computer skills required
  • Position may require travel to various banking centers and vendor locations, which may include different hours than normal bank operation time.
