Job description

Position Summary:Vali, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Proposal Coordinator to grow with our proposal team. This role is best suited for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in learning the federal proposal process and supporting the development of competitive proposals for government customers. This position will work directly with the Senior Proposal Manager to assist with proposal planning, scheduling, document management, and submission activities. Training will be provided to help the individual develop the skills needed to support and eventually lead increasingly complex proposal efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support proposal coordination efforts for federal opportunities.Work with the senior proposal manager, leadership team, project managers, and other departments to prepare and submit proposalsSupport the full proposal process, from opportunity tracking and kickoff meetings through final submissionEdit and proofread proposal materials for clarity and consistencyMaintain proposal libraries, past performance records, and compliance documentationGain experience with federal contracting processes and requirementsPerform other duties as neededEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field; no prior professional experience requiredU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearanceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and willingness to learn proposal toolsCollaborative personality with the ability to work in a team environment Able to perform tasks with limited supervisionInterest in federal contractingLocation:Fully remote (located in Huntsville, AL or surrounding area is preferred) Vali, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
