Position Summary:

Oasys International is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Junior Proposal Specialist to join our growing Proposal Team. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in proposal development, business operations, and federal contracting. The Junior Proposal Specialist will support the coordination, development, editing, formatting, and submission of proposals in response to Federal Government solicitations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn proposal management while working closely with experienced proposal professionals, program managers, and subject matter experts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review government solicitations and assist in identifying proposal requirements, deliverables, and submission deadlines.
  • Support the development of proposals and related documents for Federal Government opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing written responses, supporting materials, and submission documents that demonstrate the company’s qualifications, experience, and technical approach.
  • Organize, edit, format, proofread, and review proposal content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Assist with proposal sections such as management approaches, key personnel resumes, and past performance narratives.
  • Coordinate with internal contributors to collect information, track assignments, and support proposal schedules.
  • Maintain proposal files, templates, and version control using SharePoint and other document repositories.
  • Participate in proposal kickoff meetings, status meetings, and color team reviews.
  • Support final proposal production, quality reviews, and submission activities.
  • Collaborate with proposal managers, program managers, subcontractors, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders throughout the proposal lifecycle.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent proofreading, editing, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience using AI tools to support research, writing, editing, or workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SharePoint.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant internships, coursework, or equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience.
