Responsibilities:
  • Basic machine operation, secondary operations, product assembly, and/or inspection of product.

  • Basic responsibility for general safety of work area including basic machine safety.

  • Basic responsibility for 5S of work areas.

  • Assist with paperwork, reporting production output and scrap reporting.

  • May assist with scrap reduction efforts.

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent (Educacion Diversificada diploma-CR).

  • Entry level, 0-2 years of production or assembly experience.

  • Basic knowledge of equipment operation.

  • Ability to recognize obvious equipment issues and report them to Supervisor.

  • Cross-Training is limited to one or two lines or processes.

  • Basic math skills and familiarity with simple measurement tools.

  • Capable of completing production logs, quality control checklists, incident reports and other applicable production forms or documents.

  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to perform tasks safely and effectively.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and more experienced operators to ensure tasks are completed correctly and safely.
