Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting various functions within the Human Resources department, including (but not limited to): benefits, employee leave, reporting, training, and enforcement of company policies. You will collaborate with all employees in our region to organize and distribute HR-related information.

Requirements:

  • Requires at least two years of work experience in human resources, benefits administration, talent acquisition, training and development, or a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and also effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to act discreetly and professionally in a work environment.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Must possess at least a two-year college degree.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment and the onboarding process for qualified applicants.
  • Coordinate online background checks.
  • Organize and conduct engaging new employee orientation programs.
  • Maintain and manage employee records.
  • Ensure employees complete mandatory training and continuing education (e.g., safety training, employee handbook training, anti-harassment training, etc.).
  • Assist with employee benefits programs (open enrollment) and employee leave requests.
  • Assist the HR manager in coordinating disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations.
  • Oversee projects and related training to enhance the experience of internal employees and management.
