Job description:

Looking for an Engineer Hardware 1 to support our Hardware Department. This position will serve on-site in Boulder, CO

Responsibilities

โ€ข Build spare kits for mobile antenna system

โ€ข Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) for hardware projects ensuring traceability and configuration control.

โ€ข Perform component compatibility reviews

โ€ข Conduct work in an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) laboratory, including following standard operating procedures, safety protocols.

โ€ข Collaborate with Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Design Engineers to resolve document related issues, drive design improvements, and streamline manufacturing processes.

Basic Qualifications for Engineer Hardware 1

โ€ข Strong knowledge of wire harness design, BOM management.

โ€ข Demonstrated ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation

โ€ข Effective interpersonal and communication skills for cross disciplinary collaboration.

โ€ข Familiarity with the design and integration of SATCOM ground terminals, RF over Fiber, high power transmitters, and antennas.

โ€ข Develop and manage Bill of Materials (BOM), Bill of Exchange (BOE), and Statements of Work (SOW) for hardware projects, ensuring traceability and configuration control.

โ€ข Demonstrated ability to collaborate across team boundaries.

โ€ข U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Hardware 1

โ€ข Familiarity with Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) laboratories, including standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and compliance with J STD 001 ICT and Space Applications Electronic Hardware.

โ€ข Demonstrated understanding of Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) and troubleshooting activities.
