The base pay scale for this position is $82,500.00 - $126,000.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

Job Description Summary
The Epic Cadence Analyst I supports the design, build, testing, and maintenance of solutions within Epic Cadence and related modules such as Prelude and Welcome. This entry-level role partners with operational teams and end users to support scheduling workflows, system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing application support.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Cadence Analyst I is responsible for supporting the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's scheduling application to ensure efficient patient appointment workflows and access operations.
Key responsibilities include assisting with the design, build, testing, implementation, and support of solutions within the Epic Cadence application and related functionality such as Appointment Scheduling, Template Management, Resource Scheduling, Waitlist Management, and integration with Prelude and Welcome. The Cadence Analyst I collaborates with operational teams, end users, and project staff to support business requirements, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system reliability.
This position is designed for individuals developing foundational application and healthcare IT knowledge. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to learn new technologies and workflows in a team-oriented environment. Participation in an on-call rotation and occasional evening or weekend support may be required.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in healthcare, information technology, application support, or system implementation.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
1+ years of experience supporting healthcare applications, information systems, or operational workflows within a healthcare environment.
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

POSITION & UNIT ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Assist with the configuration, testing, validation, and support of Epic Cadence and related applications under the guidance of senior analysts and team leadership.
  • Support day-to-day maintenance activities, issue resolution, and routine system updates to ensure reliable scheduling operations.
  • Participate in workflow discussions, requirements gathering, and documentation efforts with operational teams and end users.
  • Perform basic system troubleshooting, ticket resolution, and escalation of complex issues as appropriate.
  • Support testing activities for upgrades, enhancements, fixes, and new implementations.
  • Maintain documentation related to workflows, build decisions, testing results, and support procedures.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of Epic applications, healthcare operations, and organizational standards and workflows.
  • Participate in team meetings, training opportunities, and knowledge-sharing activities to support professional development.
  • Obtain and maintain Epic certifications as required for assigned applications and responsibilities.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide occasional evening or weekend support as needed.

EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
