Job Description Summary:
Position Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate for our Epic Cadence Analyst will join our scheduling team, with a focus on optimizing patient access and operational efficiency. This role plays a critical part in supporting enterprise scheduling strategies and aligning Epic Cadence tools with practice and specialty needs. The Epic Cadence Analyst will be responsible for implementing new or revised system requirements or procedures within Epic. This role will assist in activities of project team and act as a source for direction, training and guidance for less experienced departmental staff.

Key initiatives include:
  • Referral Management Optimization: Streamlining and automating workqueue processes to reduce delays and improve patient conversion from referral to appointment.
  • Scheduling Decision Tree Redesign: Enhancing logic and intake workflows to improve triage accuracy and match patients to the right appointment type and provider.
  • Template Build & Optimization: Collaborating with operational leaders to refine provider templates, improve utilization, and expand appointment availability.
  • Practice Expansion Projects: Leading new site and specialty onboarding efforts including location build, department configuration, and scheduling workflows to support growth across the organization.
  • Provide support for Epic Cadence applications, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals and requirements.
  • Utilize your expertise in Cadence applications to streamline scheduling, referral, and registration processes, improving patient access and experience.
  • Demonstrates service excellence and positive interpersonal relationship in dealing with others.
  • Prepare documentation and assists in documenting and defining workflows in collaboration with team members and operational users.
  • Identifies, manages, and communicates issues and risks, for supported applications.
  • Collaborates with peers to create and maintain standard team specific documentation. Instrumental in maintaining, and consistently participates in improving standards of documentation.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent education / experience.
  • Certifications in the Epic Cadence application and/or other related Epic applications.
  • Three years: Healthcare IT experience.
  • Florida resident required for full time, 1099 contract option possible
