Job description

Malloy Chevrolet in Winchester is looking for an Entry Level Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have an entry-level service technician background, with at least C level qualifications preferred. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.ย

Entry Level Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and general service tasks.
  • Complete minor repairs and adjustments based on work orders and company standards.
  • Conduct brake services, wheel alignments, and other light mechanical work.
  • Move vehicles into service bays, perform digital inspections, and test drive to ensure service quality.
  • Keep your work area clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.

Entry Level Automotive Service Technician Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or certification from an accredited technical school.ย 
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a good driving record.
  • Minimum of 6 months of hands-on automotive repair experience or completion of an automotive training program.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle systems, tools, and procedures needed for routine maintenance and basic repairs.
  • Ability to operate repair tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and being part of a team-oriented service environment.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and improve.
