Job Overview

This is a sales-driven, entry-level management role designed for high-energy sales professionals who thrive on closing deals and hitting targets. As a General Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to drive new membership sales and grow the club’s member base through consistent prospecting, lead follow up, tours, and closing.

In addition to membership sales, you will maximize revenue per member by scheduling and promoting Fitness Consultations for both new and existing members. This role is highly visible and hands-on. You will be on the floor daily, engaging members representing the brand, and ensuring the club delivers a clean, welcoming, and high-energy experience.

This is not a behind-the-desk management role. Success in this position is measured by sales activity, close rate, and member growth.

What We Expect

  • Drive and grow membership through disciplined pipeline management, consistent lead follow-up and closing new memberships.
  • General consistent sales appointments and tours through daily outreach (calls, texts, and emails), with activity levels adjusted by club volume.
  • Actively prospect, tour, and enroll new members through phone calls, walk-ins, and community outreach.
  • Deliver confident, high-energy sales presentations tailored to individual goals
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets
  • Build relationships with prospects and members to drive referrals and retention
  • Represent the club int he local community to generate new leads and brand awareness
  • Help clean and maintain an inviting environment or members
  • Be an ambassador of the Anytime Fitness brand standards, safety protocols, and basic operational expectations

What You Bring

  • Ability to maximize sales opportunities and achieve sales goals
  • Confidence talking to new people and asking for the sale
  • High energy, positive attitude, and coachability
  • Basic organizational skills to manage leads and follow-ups
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with members and provide exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with members, local community contacts, and other managers/staff
  • Eager to learn and continuously develop strong business acumen.

Previous management or fitness experience is not required-relentless drive for results, and a sales mindset are.

Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday: 10am-7pm
  • Friday: 10am-5pm
  • Saturday hours in January are required and additional weekend hours as needed
