Job description

Our hospital is searching for a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship trained physician to join our current sports medicine and orthopedic team. This opportunity offers a desirable work/life balance and supportive staff that will allow you to focus on providing excellent patient care.

Major Health Partners: 4004

  • Full time, hospital employed
  • This position works in the clinic 4 days/ week with 1 day off.
  • The physician would help cover Shelbyville and Morristown High School sports coverage. As a group, we do provide Athletic training coverage to 8 different schools within Shelby County, Decatur County and Bartholomew County. Our ATC outreach program helps feed our sports medicine and orthopedic referrals to the clinic.
  • This position does require ED call 1 day/ week and every 5th weekend.
  • Major Health Partners is not a trauma center, so the call coverage is minimal. 1 day per week and every other weekend that starts Friday morning and ends Monday at 7:00am. 1-2 holidays/ year depending on the year.

  • Currently, this practice offers US guided procedures and PRP. We are getting ready to expand and remodel our orthopedic center to account for the current and upcoming growth in our orthopedic service line. We will be adding 30,000 square feet. Our goal is to be an orthopedic center of excellence.
