POSITION TITLE: Entry-Level Commercial Painter

Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $18–24/hour (based on experience)
Position Overview:
Profeta Painting is looking for a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Commercial Painter to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in the painting trade.

In this role, you’ll assist with preparing and applying coatings to a variety of commercial and industrial surfaces, both interior and exterior. You’ll work alongside experienced painters and receive hands-on training in tools, techniques, and safety practices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with surface preparation including scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
  • Apply paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, and (with training) spray equipment
  • Help complete projects in commercial settings such as offices, warehouses, and retail spaces
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
  • Support project timelines while learning to maintain quality standards

Qualifications:
  • No prior commercial painting experience required (training provided)
  • Basic construction or labor experience is a plus, but not required
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding, lifts)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
