Job description

RS Commercial Construction, is a leading full-service General Contractor in Dallas, TX, and specializes in municipal, school, and higher education renovation, maintenance, and repair using Job Order Contracting (JOC). We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial renovation and JOC projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional client management, organizational skills, and the ability to lead small teams while ensuring project quality, safety, and timely completion. This role offers excellent growth potential within a well-established firm.

Responsibilities

  • Attend pre-bid job walks and review construction plans and specifications
  • Review contract documents to fully understand project scope
  • Oversee all project stages, manage subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensure strict adherence to job site safety protocols
  • Implement and maintain quality control standards
  • Manage project schedule and prepare weekly look-ahead schedules
  • Coordinate material and equipment procurement as needed
  • Lead regular job site progress meetings
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and related project reports
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project goals

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years commercial construction supervision experience
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents
