InSight Risk Management, a Member of Correll Insurance Group has an immediate need for an Agency Services Representative (ASR) at our Cordova, TN location. Insight Risk Management is one of the largest regional independent insurance agencies in the Mid-South, providing our commercial clients with coverage from a multitude of standard carriers as well as surplus lines markets. We offer the technical expertise necessary to create local & national, specialty programs for our clients. Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an entry-level agency service representative to support our commercial lines division. The position is designed to teach the business of insurance so that additional responsibilities can be assigned as quickly as possible, based on the individual’s ability to be a team player, grasp insurance concepts & a demonstrated desire to grow professionally. The individual hired will initially work with a primary trainer, but over time responsibilities will expand to support multiple account managers, including electronically marketing a client’s account with various insurance carriers, in order to obtain the best insurance coverage and price for their specific needs. This will allow for exposure to various levels of insurance knowledge, experience, and techniques. This is a great opportunity if you are seeking a career change or are a new college graduate wanting to begin your career.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
  • Must be able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be customer-focused and team-oriented
  • Possess time management and organizational skills with precise attention to detail
  • 2+ years of professional office experience with a demonstrated record of career progression/additional responsibility; or a college degree, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given and standard accepted practices
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency – Microsoft Word & Excel at a minimum
