Job description

SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting in creating layouts and designs for various advertising materials including direct mail campaigns, print graphics, motion graphics and web or interactive media graphics for internal and external promotions and initiatives. Other duties may include assisting in pre and postproduction, finishing, web development, display system management, typing, data entry, photography, research, scanning, vendor relations, customer service and cost and quote analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist in Design and Pre-Press activities for all Marketing initiatives across all entities and community projects.
  • Assist in Design for light display mediums such as web or interactive media, broadcast or motion graphics.
  • Administrative duties such as typing, data entry, display system / information system management, research and collection of design support needs (such as stock photography or footage and may include photography).
  • Work must be approved by the Director of Marketing prior to production.
  • Work is assigned on a project or piece basis by the Director of Marketing and reviewed in stages throughout the design or production of each project or piece. Each project and piece will be review on creativity, clarity or message or concept, design concepts and required copy completeness and placement.
  • Maintains adequate supplies necessary to effectively perform the duties of the job; keeps a clean, neat, well-stocked work area; re-stocks supply as needed.
  • Maintains on-site collateral for all entities, to include golf and retail outlets.
  • Keep all areas clean & sanitized as directed.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED required. Knowledge of design concepts, terminology and media requirements
  • Thorough knowledge in design software including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Knowledge of web design and development techniques.
  • Strong computer skills including the ability to type, navigate through the system and networks and knowledge of file structure and organization on both Mac and PC environments.
