Job description

Our client located in Bayshore is looking to hire an experienced Operations Support / Customer Service on a direct hire basis. This Operations Support / Customer Service position is a full time role and is on site. The standard hours are Monday – Friday from 9am – 5:30pm. We are looking for a candidate to handle all aspects of customer service needs and administrative duties as assigned. We are looking for a self-starter with a great attitude who enjoys solving problems and taking on challenges.

JOB TITLE: Operations Support / Customer Service

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Support / Customer Service to join our clients team. Our client is growing and expanding, that is why this position is open.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes but not limited to)

  • Order processing/fulfillment and sales support
  • Deal directly with customers and provide exceptional customer service via telephone, web, or email
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and offer solutions quickly
  • Communicate with all departments to ensure an expedient resolution to customer escalations
  • Handle stressful calls and issues with a calm and reassuring demeanor and attitude
  • General administrative duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Patience for people and a high stress tolerance when needed
  • Friendly and professional with excellent listening skills
  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple and changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to negotiate
  • Highly resourceful team player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently

Salary is based upon experience but the target is $58k-59k plus a complete benefits package.
