Job Summary:
Addepar is a global data and AI platform empowering investment professionals to turn complex financial information into actionable intelligence. The Enterprise Sales Engineer will lead presentations with key stakeholders, drive the technical side of the sales cycle, and support account executives in showcasing how Addeparโ€™s solutions can solve complex financial challenges.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Serve as the primary domain expert, supporting account executives throughout the entire sales and relationship expansion lifecycle
โ€ข Guide existing clients through the modernization of their workflows. Youโ€™ll demonstrate how migrating to a platform or adopting Addeparโ€™s AI-powered insights creates a vertically integrated ecosystem that outpaces their current setup
โ€ข Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to understand prospect requirements and map them to Addeparโ€™s technical solutions
โ€ข Design and build tailored demo environments, run end-to-end proof-of-concepts including the ingestion of client data to showcase the platform's value
โ€ข Lead technical executive reviews and expansion executions for our largest existing relationships, identifying and delivering new platform value that directly drives incremental ARR
โ€ข Manage the technical portions of the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs/RFIs and coordinating with internal product and engineering teams
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 3+ years in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture, with a proven track record of supporting both initial sales and large-scale account expansions
โ€ข Strong proficiency in AI-driven software and data ecosystems
โ€ข Confidence to guide high-stakes technical engagements and experience to lead executive reviews for senior stakeholders at multi-billion dollar firms
โ€ข Ability to jump into the weeds of data architecture and managed database workflows and pivot to a high-level strategic pitch
โ€ข Robust understanding of global financial markets and a broad spectrum of asset classes (from equities and fixed income to complex alternatives)
โ€ข Intellectually curious and skilled at connecting technical milestones to tangible business value and ARR growth throughout the entire lifecycle of a relationship
โ€ข Understanding of workflows embedded and concept of integrating complex data sets
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s Degree required
Preferred:
โ€ข Certifications such as the CFA, CFP and Masters Degree
โ€ข Flexibility to travel on short notice (10-20%)
