What you will do:

The Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for managing communication with each site on their enrollment status and the process of enrolling children into the EIDT program. The Enrollment Coordinator is also responsible for reviewing and submitting all DP and Therapy Medicaid Audits.ย 

  • Develop relationships with and communicates eligibility with the family.ย 
  • Email families monthly to update them on where we are in the enrollment process.ย 
  • Meet with Director of Preschool Services and/or Senior Director weekly to help facilitate completion of eligibility requirements for enrollment and review eligibility status for approval for enrollment.ย 
  • Send off necessary paperwork for a child that has attended an ITP Conference.ย 
  • Notify the Director of Preschool Services and/or Senior Director when a child has been approved for enrollment to meet Medicaid guidelines.ย 
  • Monitor ITP Conferences and Screeners.ย 
  • Review all patient charts for completeness to ensure compliance with all federal and state guidelines, including Medicaid and DHS.ย 
  • Receive Therapy Audit Letters from EQ Health, distribute them out to each site to get the audit packets ready and complete DP audits.ย 
  • Responsible for sending out emails for audit deadlines, communicating with each site about each audit, and submitting audit packets once they are completed.ย 
  • Responsible for any denied audits and gathering the correct information from the sites to get the denial overturned.ย 
  • Complete all documentation in necessary systems.ย

What you have:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
  • Must be able to work with children birth to age 21 and families who are at risk.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Computer skills which includes a working knowledge of keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Reports for work dressed appropriately and complies with company policies regarding the dress code.
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.ย 
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to accurately communicate information and ideas so others will understand through sight and hearing. The employee is regularly required to move including walking, running, jumping, and sitting. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, lift, reach, and feel. The employee is frequently required to stand and stoop, twist, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
