Event Management Intern - Event Operations 

Location: Houston, TX - Toyota Center

Compensation: Paid Internship ($7.25 / hr for office hours & $15.00 / hr on Event Days)

BEST Crowd Management is a nationwide leader in event security and guest services, providing operational excellence at some of the most high-profile stadiums, arenas, and entertainment venues in the country. 

Internship Overview: 

BEST Crowd Management is seeking motivated Event Management Interns to gain hands-on experience in Event Security & Guest Services Operations at major stadiums and arenas. This role is designed for students or recent graduates looking to develop leadership skills in large-scale event operations, crowd management, and venue security. Interns will be actively involved in gameday execution, staffing logistics, and operational planning. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the hiring, scheduling, and payroll management for event security and guest services staff. 

  • Support the set-up and breakdown of event operations, ensuring all logistics align with security and crowd management plans. 

  • Help lead gameday operations, including deployment of staff, troubleshooting issues, and working frontline roles as needed. 

  • Conduct onboarding and training for new event staff. 

  • Collaborate with stadium and arena leadership teams to ensure operational efficiency. 

  • Participate in post-event evaluations and reports to improve future operations. 

  • Gain exposure to venue security protocols, emergency response plans, and crowd control strategies. 

  • Provide hands-on support in various departments to gain a 360-degree view of event management.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Hospitality, Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field. 

  • Passion for live events, sports, and large-scale operations.
