Job description

We are seeking an experienced 1st shift Electronics Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within our electronic design and contract manufacturing environment. This role is highly hands-on and requires strong floor presence supporting SMT, cable/wire, and box build operations.


Key Responsibilities

Production Leadership

  • Supervise general assemblers, SMT operators, and electronic technicians
  • Ensure production schedules are met efficiently and on time
  • Communicate daily production goals and priorities
  • Enforce company policies, attendance, and environmental compliance


Technical & Process Oversight

  • Support SMT lines, reflow ovens, wave soldering, AOI, coating, and cable/wire equipment
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support engineering teams
  • Review production documentation and provide labor estimates for cable, PCB, and box builds
  • Maintain and improve production records and procedures in coordination with process engineering


Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards
  • Maintain ISO-regulated processes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives


Required Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years supervisory experience in electronics manufacturing (EMS preferred)
  • Working knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610 required)
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, schematics, and bills of material
  • Experience in ISO-regulated manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook


Preferred

  • AOI experience
  • Experience in contract manufacturing environment
  • Lean / process improvement background
