We are looking for an Electrical Assembly II at our Benton Harbor, MI facility. Responsibilities: Preps, assembles, & tests electrical sub-assemblies, or completed units under little or no supervision for routine work and general instructions on new assignments. Refers to technical drawings and written directions to execute work. Uses & understands basic blueprints for wiring schematics. Accurately bends conduit for proper installation using conduit bending formulas. Performs thermocouple heat tests. Performs basic troubleshooting as required in the Mold repair function. Uses & understands the operation of pipe threading machine. Identifies, investigates and reports additional work requirements and rework to Supervisor. Determines operationโ€™s sequences and methods where specifications are not available. May provide work leadership including dispersing work assignments, tracking progress, and resolving routine materials problems for lower classified employees. May operate an overhead crane or forklift. Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge: High School or Equivalent 2+ years of experience - Working knowledge & understanding of a voltage/ohm meter. Tools/Equipment - Hand Tools, Various electrical testing equipment: tape measure, scale & dial calipers (standard & metric).
