About the Role:

Assembly Line Supervisor supervises a manufacturing production line that assembles fabricated parts. Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets. Manages and oversees all operations activities; ensures that all operations functions are performed in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established operations procedures and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership.
  • Prepares all required reports and correspondence.
  • Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years related manufacturing experience or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent preferred.
  • Leads by example through 5S Methodology.
  • Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
  • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds at times.

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
