Immersive Internship: Unveiling Opportunities
The Assembly Film Internship Program presents a transformative journey, where participants assume integral roles within our team. This distinctive program offers an unparalleled opportunity for aspiring filmmakers to glean insights across various facets of the film and television domain, engaging in practical experiences that
holds substantial relevance.
Interns will be actively involved in day-to-day studio operations, shadowing Assembly Studios' dedicated staff, participating in script reading and analysis, attending enriching roundtable discussions, and spearheading the creation of a short film, potentially eligible for submission to the Atlanta Film Festival and other film competitions.
Application Details and Qualifications:
• This is a paid internship.
• Extends over 8 weeks.
• Commencing from June 1st culminating on July 24th.
• Deadline is March 1ST, 2026
• In person ONLY. Regrettably, virtual internships are not currently on offer.
• Only 5 candidates will be hired for the summer term.
• Candidates are REQUIRED to be Class of 2025 or Graduating Class of 2026 to be considered.
• A prerequisite for consideration is the completion or ongoing enrollment in at least one film-related course or degree.
• Available to dedicate about 15 hours per week to the position.
• Strong interest in the film industry and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in relevant office software or tools used in film production (e.g., Microsoft Office, editing software, camera equipment preferred).
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the demands of the internship.
• Availability to commit to the duration of the internship program WITHOUT missing more than 2 scheduled workdays.
• Previous experience or projects in film production may be advantageous, but are not always required.
• Candidates must possess reliable transportation to and from Assembly Studios.
