Job description

Description:

Teachers’ Curriculum Institute (TCI) is a leading provider of K–12 curriculum solutions that combine engaging content, hands-on learning, and powerful technology to bring education to life.

TCI delivers innovative EdTech content to more than 50,000 K-12 schools nationwide through award-winning programs like History Alive! and Bring Science Alive! Every day, our work makes a difference to thousands of teachers and students. We are a small, collaborative team committed to innovation, lifelong learning, and growth—both for our company and our team members.

About the Role:
Are you a classroom teacher looking for a new challenge while staying connected to education? Join TCI as a Sales Consultant, where you will play a key role in supporting both new and existing customers, driving the adoption of our programs, fostering renewals, and ensuring a seamless experience for districts, schools, and teachers. In this role, you will field inbound inquiries and drive sales to charter schools, private schools, and small districts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound cases and phone calls, route inquiries to the appropriate representative, and guide customers through the purchasing process.
  • Support educational decision-makers by uncovering needs and matching TCI products to those requirements.
  • Promote and sell TCI’s programs through email communication, phone calls, customer meetings, and product demonstrations.
  • Foster renewals by supporting existing customers' usage of TCI products, providing ongoing support, and uncovering opportunities to expand implementation to additional grade levels. Assist customers with purchasing decisions by providing expertise on past purchases, sending samples, creating quotes, and following up on sales opportunities.
  • Leverage Salesforce, NetSuite, Domo, and Google Suite tools for organization and tracking.
  • Collaborate with remote teams nationwide to achieve time-sensitive goals during busy seasons.
Requirements:
  • Experience using TCI materials in an educational setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to clearly explain complex issues and actively listen to concerns.
  • Strong presentation and sales skills; comfortable conducting meetings virtually.
  • Detail-oriented with proven troubleshooting abilities.
  • Organized self-starter able to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects, and meet urgent requests.
  • Ability to work independently from a home office; reliable internet access required.

What We Offer:

  • Training to work with world-class business systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, and Domo.
  • Opportunities to grow professionally within an innovative EdTech company.
  • Collaborative team environment focused on skill development and career advancement.

This is a full-time remote position. The pay range for this position is between $32.50 and $38.50 hourly. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related experience, skills, and location. TCI offers medical, dental, vision, 401k benefits, PTO, and bonus eligibility.
