Job Summary:
IXL Learning is the country's largest EdTech company, and they are seeking Software Engineers to enhance their successful Rosetta Stone products. The role involves working with a team to develop new features, build application logic, and collaborate across multiple development teams.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work with a team of talented engineers, both starting projects from scratch and also working within the existing code base
โ€ข Build the back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for our products
โ€ข Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementations
โ€ข Collaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams to design and release amazing products
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 3+ years of experience in software engineering
โ€ข Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
โ€ข Excellent programming skills (e.g. Ruby/Go or Java)
โ€ข Strong communication, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Modern best practices in Javascript, HTML, and CSS
โ€ข Knowledge of AWS, MySQL, MongoDB, GraphQL/Node, React is a plus
