POSITION SUMMARY

The Website Merchandising Manager is responsible for the day-to-day merchandising, onsite search optimization, and operational execution of ProCaps Laboratories' DTC website. This role owns the onsite customer journey across homepage merchandising, collections, navigation, promotional execution, and product discovery.

A key responsibility is managing and optimizing FastSimon, including search merchandising, filtering, personalization, recommendation logic, and onsite search conversion.

This position works cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Product, Operations, and Customer Care to maintain a conversion-focused ecommerce experience that supports campaign and growth objectives. This is a highly execution-oriented role focused on operational excellence and onsite performance.

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS)

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, Merchandising, or related field
  • 4+ years of ecommerce merchandising or website operations experience
  • Azure, Shopify, or similar ecommerce platform experience
  • Hands-on FastSimon, Searchspring, Bloomreach, or similar search platform experience
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising, onsite UX, and conversion optimization
  • Experience executing website updates, promotional launches, and merchandising workflows
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, founder-led environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supplements, wellness, health products, or DTC ecommerce brands
  • Familiarity with ecommerce analytics and reporting tools

WHAT YOU’LL DO (ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES)

Website Merchandising & Customer Experience

  • Own day-to-day website merchandising across homepage, collections, category pages, navigation, product placements, and promotional modules
  • Execute promotional updates, campaign launches, seasonal refreshes, and onsite content changes in coordination with Marketing
  • Manage product categorization, collection organization, tagging, upsells/cross-sells, and merchandising logic
  • Optimize the onsite customer journey to improve product discovery, conversion rate, and AOV
  • Support founder-led campaigns through onsite merchandising and landing page execution

FastSimon Search & Merchandising Ownership

  • Fully manage and optimize FastSimon functionality and merchandising
  • Optimize onsite search, autocomplete, filtering, faceting, sorting, recommendation logic, and personalization
  • Manage search rules, synonyms, redirects, and product boosting
  • Monitor search performance and identify opportunities to improve search conversion and product discovery

Site Operations & Onsite Testing

  • Manage product setup, collection maintenance, taxonomy, and catalog organization within web platform (Azure)
  • Coordinate promotional implementation, pricing updates, inventory visibility, and merchandising changes
  • Partner with developers and technical teams on QA, bug resolution, and UX improvements
  • Monitor key website KPIs including conversion rate, search conversion, bounce rate, and AOV
  • Support A/B testing initiatives scoped to onsite merchandising, navigation, and product discovery

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with:

  • Marketing on campaign execution and promotional coordination
  • Creative on homepage updates, landing pages, and merchandising assets
  • Product and Operations on product launches and inventory coordination
  • Customer Care on customer feedback and site experience improvements

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Duties are performed primarily in a smoke-free manufacturing environment
